- Define strategies for managing treatment-experienced patients
- Compare the potency of second-line therapeutic options
- Define what constitutes a
treatment-experienced patient
- Advise on the design of regimens for treatment-experienced patients with multiclass drug resistance
- Understand details of interpreting HIV resistance assays, including NRTI, NNRTI, PI, and tropism assays
- Identify some of the short-and long-term toxicities associated with use of current antiretroviral therapy
- Gain knowledge of how to manage or avoid some of these
