Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Describe the clinical presentation, including classic symptomatology and physical examination findings, of neurologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal leg disorders.
  2. Differentiate between leg disorders based on pathophysiologic origin to provide proper diagnosis and possible cause of disease.
  3. Recognize the implications of misdiagnosis of leg disorders and its relative impact on patient outcomes, including morbidity, mortality, and quality of life.
  4. Design a treatment plan that utilizes pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies to manage the symptoms and comorbidities associated with leg disorders.
